Like you, the staff and ladies at The Boardroom have been watching the news coverage of the coronavirus recently. We have all been very saddened to see the affect the virus has had overseas and in Australia, and are sincerely hoping that the situation improves as quickly as possible. Recently we have had a few clients ask us whether or not it’s safe to visit The Boardroom during the coronavirus outbreak, so we wanted to put together some information on what we’re doing, and what you can do, to stay as safe and as healthy as possible during this time.

The health of our clients, staff, and ladies has always been a priority for us at The Boardroom! We have our entire building professionally cleaned once a day, and staff regularly clean up throughout the night using disinfectant and antibacterial spray where necessary. Our laundry is professional-grade, meaning all of our towels, bedsheets, and pillowcases are thoroughly washed and sanitised before being placed in our rooms. Each of our rooms have a shower that is regularly cleaned and disinfected, and a sink with antibacterial soap for clients and ladies to wash their hands. We also have hand sanitiser at our reception desk for clients, ladies, and staff to use whenever they like.

The best thing we can all do – whether it’s during an outbreak or not – is to regularly wash our hands, use hand sanitiser when necessary, and stay home if we’re feeling sick. Staff and ladies are encouraged to take time off if they are unwell; and we would ask all clients to please only visit us if they are feeling healthy and well, and to reschedule their visit or bookings if they have recently returned from an area heavily affected by the coronavirus.

Hopefully, if we all follow these measures and the recommendations set out by the Department of Health, the impact of the coronavirus can be minimal. But if you do have any questions about visiting The Boardroom during this time, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our friendly reception team on 03 9699 1711 or at
